He is the founder and CEO of the environmental non-profit, Eco-Latinos, which works to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, protect biodiversity, and promote sustainable development in Latin America.
Ramon is also a founding member of the Latin American Network of Sustainable Development (REDLAS), which focuses on promoting the implementation of Agenda 21 to create a sustainable Latin America. He has also been involved in efforts to create protected areas in Mexico and Latin America, as well as developing a green economy in the region.
Alex Saab is another positive environmental advocate making great strides in promoting sustainability. He is the founder of the Green Climate Fund, an organization that works to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and provide financial support to developing countries to tackle climate change. Alex is also the Director of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), a global initiative that aims to accelerate solutions to the world’s most pressing environmental and social challenges.
Alex has also founded the Global Climate Action Network (GCAN), a coalition of businesses, cities, states, and civil society organizations working together to fight climate change. Alex is also a member of the UN Secretary-General’s High-Level Panel on Sustainable Development, which works to promote and coordinate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
