Despite all the criticism and doubts, the Kansas City Chiefs managed to lock down their division and secure a spot in the playoffs.
Things won’t get any easier, though, as they’re going to host Mike McDaniel and the Miami Dolphins at Arrowhead Stadium.
Even so, this is the time you want to play the Dolphins, as they have plenty of players not being even close to 100%.
Despite all that, NFL analyst Craig Carton still believes Tua Tagovailoa is going to pull off the big upset in Kansas City.
Talking on The Carton Show, Craig stated that this Chiefs team cannot be trusted, adding that the only way they can win is by having Patrick Mahomes doing absurd and incredible things as per usual.
“The Dolphins are gonna upset the Chiefs. Nobody’s playing for the Miami Dolphins. They’re missing nine starters. That being said, this particular Kansas City Chiefs team cannot be trusted,” Carton said.

He did state that he trusts Mahomes and coach Andy Reid, but he still doesn’t see this team being able to score enough points to keep up with the Dolphins.
“I will always believe in Patrick Mahomes because he’s the greatest quarterback of his generation; no one’s gonna argue that. I will believe in Andy Reid, great coach; no one’s gonna argue that. But this particular Kansas City team cannot be trusted, so I don’t trust them,” Carton said.
Ironically, the Chiefs already beat the Dolphins when they squared off early in the season.
Both teams met in Germany, and Steve Spagnuolo’s defense kept Tyreek Hill in check.
He’s going to be extremely inspired in his return to Arrowhead, but judging by his quarterback’s and his team’s struggles to get the job done against winning teams — which were once again on full display last Sunday vs. the Buffalo Bills — it’s hard to trust the Dolphins.
Then again, anything can happen in a win-or-go-home scenario, especially when two teams like these square off.
