The Dallas Cowboys are loaded with star players on offense and defense.
Quarterback Dak Prescott is a multi-time Pro Bowler, pass rusher Micah Parsons is a Defensive Player of the Year candidate, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb established himself as an elite pass-catcher, and cornerback Trevon Diggs was fantastic before a season-ending injury.
Among that group, though, Fox Sports analyst Skip Bayless said he believes there’s only one real “baller” – or bonafide playmaker – on this Cowboys team.
“I’ve come to believe this Cowboys team has one real baller on it,” Bayless said on his podcast this week. “… And that’s CeeDee Lamb.”

Lamb took his game to another level in 2023 with more receptions, yards, and touchdowns than he did during his previous career-high season a year ago.
He also recently broke the Cowboys’ franchise record for receiving yards in a single season.
Prescott will look to Lamb on almost every play and prefers passing it to his reliable fourth-year wideout than any other receiver on the team.
Lamb proved this season, too, that he can score from anywhere on the field as both a receiver and as a rusher.
The Cowboys will need a baller like Lamb to continue to play at a high level if they want to win the Super Bowl for the first time since 1995-96.
That journey will be a little easier if they beat the Washington Commanders in Week 18, as a victory over their NFC East foe would secure the division, a home playoff game, and the No. 2 seed in the NFC postseason bracket.
A good game from Lamb this weekend would undoubtedly help that cause.
