The Toronto Raptors hold a 9-10 record and the tenth spot in the Eastern Conference.
That means they have room to grow and the rest of the season will likely remain tough.
But even though they aren’t perfect, one of their players is doing incredibly well so far in 2023-24.
According to NBA Stats, via NBACentral, OG Anunoby has been a defensive beast against some of the biggest stars in the league.
He has held DeMar DeRozan to 3-of-14, while he has kept Victor Wembanyama to 4-of-11.
Meanwhile, he has restricted Anthony Edwards to just 1-of-10 and Karl-Anthony Towns to 0-of-3.
From Franz Wagner to Devin Booker, Anunoby has limited multiple NBA superstars.

For the season, Anunoby has averaged 14.9 points and 4.1 rebounds a game.
He has stepped up his defensive game in a big way and multiple people believe he is in the running for Defensive Player of the Year.
Anunoby has already been on the NBA All-Defensive team and was the 2022-23 steals champion, which proves just how fierce he is against his opponents.
On Wednesday night, Anunoby scored 13 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 block.
That helped the Raptors take down the Phoenix Suns, 112-105.
However, as mentioned before, the Raptors are still not one of the best teams in their conference and they are hoping to make some big movements up the rankings in the weeks ahead.
That will require continued hard work from Anunoby and others, like Scottie Barnes, Pascal Siakam, Dennis Schroder, and others.
Next up for the Raptors is the New York Knicks on Friday, followed by the Miami Heat and Charlotte Hornets.
Will Anunoby continue to dominate other leading scorers in the league?
