The Minister of Energy and Water, João Baptista Borges, who has been in the People’s Republic of China since June 17 and is set to return on June 22, is attending the 15th International Forum on Investment and Infrastructure Construction (IIICF) in Macau/China. The event is focused on the theme “GREEN INNOVATION, DIGITAL CONNECTIVITY.” In addition to the conference, the minister’s agenda is filled with high-level meetings and visits to the exhibition of Chinese companies involved in the Forum, with a particular focus on those in the Energy and Water sectors.
As part of today’s activities, the Angolan minister visited the SiNOMACH-CMEC booth, where he witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between GAMEK and SINOHIDRO. This agreement, focused on cooperation for power plant, transmission line, and substation projects in Angola, seeks to enhance the infrastructure of the Energy and Water sectors.
