Das Glück Ist Ganz Woanders! (Deutsch) von Kornél Sándor

We all know people who constantly complain about their lives, always wishing for something better. They are never satisfied with what they have and are always searching for happiness in external factors. But what if I told you that true happiness is not found in material possessions or external circumstances? What if I told you that the key to happiness lies within ourselves?

In today’s society, we are bombarded with messages that tell us we need to have the latest gadgets, the trendiest clothes, and the most luxurious lifestyle in order to be happy. We are constantly comparing ourselves to others and measuring our worth based on what we have or don’t have. But the truth is, this constant pursuit of external validation and material possessions will never bring us true happiness.

Happiness is not a destination, it is a journey. It is not something that can be bought or achieved through external means. It is a state of mind that comes from within. It is about being content with who we are and what we have, and finding joy in the present moment.

We often hear people say, “I will be happy when I get that promotion” or “I will be happy when I find the perfect partner”. But the reality is, even if we achieve these things, the feeling of happiness is often short-lived. We are constantly chasing the next big thing, thinking it will bring us everlasting happiness. But the truth is, happiness is not found in external achievements or possessions, it is found in the little things in life.

Think about it, when was the last time you felt truly happy? Was it when you bought a new car or when you received a promotion at work? Or was it when you spent quality time with your loved ones, enjoyed a beautiful sunset, or simply laughed until your stomach hurt? These moments may seem insignificant, but they are the ones that truly bring us happiness.

So why do we constantly search for happiness in external factors? One reason could be that we are conditioned to believe that success and happiness go hand in hand. We are taught that in order to be happy, we need to achieve certain goals and have certain things. But the truth is, success does not guarantee happiness. In fact, many successful people still struggle with feelings of emptiness and dissatisfaction.

Another reason could be that we are afraid to face our inner selves. We are afraid to confront our fears, insecurities, and negative thoughts. So instead, we distract ourselves with external pursuits, hoping they will fill the void within us. But the only way to truly find happiness is by facing our inner selves and learning to love and accept ourselves for who we are.

It is also important to remember that happiness is not a constant state. Just like any other emotion, it comes and goes. We cannot expect to be happy all the time, and that is okay. Life is full of ups and downs, and it is important to embrace all of our emotions, even the negative ones. It is through these experiences that we learn and grow as individuals.

So where does this leave us? How can we find true happiness? The answer is simple, by shifting our focus from external factors to our internal state. We need to stop comparing ourselves to others and start appreciating what we have. We need to practice gratitude and learn to find joy in the present moment. We need to let go of the need for external validation and start loving and accepting ourselves for who we are.

In conclusion, happiness is not found in external factors, it is found within ourselves. It is about being content with who we are and finding joy in the present moment. So let go of the constant pursuit of external validation and material possessions, and start focusing on your inner self. Remember, true happiness is not a destination, it is a journey. And it is up to us to choose to be happy every day.
