The Philadelphia Eagles were a team everyone was chasing this year after they started 10-1.
Many people thought they were the best team in football, but that talk has gotten quiet as they have lost four of their last five games.
The Eagles now seem destined for the fifth seed in the NFC playoffs and many fans are wondering what has gone wrong with the team.
Former Eagles wide receiver Jason Avant thinks he has the answer.
According to NBC Sports Philadelphia, Avant said the Eagles have a “toughness” problem.
The Birds Huddle crew didn't hold back about the Eagles' lack of toughness as of late.

The Eagles started the season having one of the best-run defenses in the league, but now are consistently being gashed by opposing offenses.
They gave up 221 yards rushing last week to the Arizona Cardinals.
They also have had one of the worst pass defenses all year.
Many would agree that Avant seems to have a point when it comes to their lack of toughness.
They got pushed around by the Cardinals who are one of the worst teams in football.
It will be interesting to see how the Eagles play when the playoffs come around as they likely will be headed on the road for their first playoff game.
With the way this team has been trending, it would be a surprise if they lasted long in the playoffs.
