The New York Giants have nothing to play for in Week 18 except a higher draft pick, pride, and spoiling the Philadelphia Eagles’ chances of winning the NFC East.
So with their 2023 season effectively over, Giants head coach Brian Daboll felt comfortable having a little fun at his final post-practice press conference.
Daboll interrupted a reporter mid-question because he was enthralled by the reporter’s hair, which prompted a hilarious exchange between the two.
“Sorry, I’m just looking at your hair,” Daboll said before the reporter jokingly asked if he was jealous (via @FiresideGiants/X).

Daboll’s second season in New York didn’t go as well as his first with the Giants sitting at a 5-11 record with one game left on the schedule.
The team regressed in numerous ways, particularly at quarterback after starter Daniel Jones tore his ACL.
As a result, the offense currently ranks 30th in points scored.
The defense didn’t do much better, either, after giving up nearly 25 points per game this season.
Daboll will likely remain the head coach for the 2024 season, but the team could undergo a lot of personnel and coaching changes as a result of the poor 2023 campaign.
The future of running back Saquon Barkley is the biggest question mark heading into the offseason after he signed a one-year deal to remain with the team this year.
Upgrades along the offensive line, at wide receiver, and across the defense should also be top priorities for the Giants this offseason.
For now, though, Daboll can just dream about other people’s hair with one game left in the year.
