In a recent segment, Scarborough couldn’t help but laugh at Newsom’s attempts to blame Trump for the state’s ongoing issues. He called Newsom’s attacks “quite embarrassing” and even mocked the governor’s use of the word “churlish” in a recent tweet directed at the president.
It’s no surprise that even a former Republican like Scarborough is taking notice of Newsom’s failures. The governor has been facing mounting criticism for his mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic and the state’s ongoing economic and social issues.
Newsom’s leadership during the pandemic has been nothing short of disastrous. His strict lockdown measures have caused businesses to close and unemployment rates to skyrocket. Meanwhile, his inconsistent and confusing guidelines have left Californians feeling frustrated and confused.

As a Democrat myself, it pains me to see a leader of my party fail so miserably. Newsom’s actions do not represent the values and principles that the Democratic Party stands for. We should be focused on finding real solutions to the issues facing our state, not playing political games.
So, dear Gavin Newsom, it’s time to take a step back and reflect on your actions. The people of California deserve a leader who will put their needs above political gain. It’s time to put aside your personal vendettas and work towards real solutions for the people of our great state.
