The Phoenix Suns have once again been without Bradley Beal for a few weeks but the star player is set to make his triumphant return just before the new year.
Duane Rankin is reporting that Beal is “in” for Friday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets.
Beal last played for his Suns back on December 15, when he suffered an ankle injury that has kept him sidelined ever since.
For fans of the team, and even some players on the roster, Beal’s return couldn’t come soon enough.

So far this season, Beal has averaged 14.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.2 assists on 44.9% from the field and 42.9% from beyond the three-point line.
Those are good numbers from the 11-year veteran, but the bad news is that Beal has only participated in six games so far this season.
He didn’t suit up for the Suns until the start of November and then only played in three games before his first sizable absence.
Then he played for three more in December before he got hurt again.
This is a troubling trend for Beal, who has been injury-prone for several years now.
When he was added to the Suns in the summer, Beal was supposed to be a key component of the team’s big three, alongside Kevin Durant, and Devin Booker.
So far, that combination has only played in one single game together.
During his latest absence, the Suns have dropped three of five games and there have been rumblings of unhappiness within the locker room, especially with star player Kevin Durant.
If the return of Beal leads to a string of wins and an extended look at what him, Durant, and Booker look like together, fans and players might relax a bit and have some hope again.
