In a sudden change of stance, Cornyn has come out in favor of using a “talking filibuster” to pass the SAVE Act. This legislation aims to protect American workers and their jobs by cracking down on illegal immigration.
In a statement, Cornyn said, “I believe the SAVE Act is an important piece of legislation that deserves a fair debate and vote. That’s why I support using a ‘talking filibuster’ to ensure it gets the attention it deserves.”
